Rusty-dot Pearl(28) along with singles of Silver Y, male Gem, and Palpita vitrealis.

Night of 28 October: 5 Diamond-back Moth, 1 Crocidosema plebejana, 17 Rusty-dot Pearl, 2 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Delicate, 1 Scarce Bordered Straw and 2 Silver Y.

Also a late Dark Arches and a Common Darter in the traps.

Palpita vitrealis rather regular now, two on 23/10 and singles on 24/10, 26/10 and 27/10.

Female Vagrant Emperor dragonfly reported from The Netherlands yesterday (27 October). With southerly winds set to return later in the week, observers are encouraged to be on the lookout for the species in the UK!!
