Rusty-dot Pearl x 22 Rush Veneer x 1 Palpita vitrealis x 2 Pearly Underwing x 1 White-speck x 7 Silver Y x 7 Dark Swordgrass x 3 and 7 traps on 17th was poor with storms - just Rusty-dot Pearls and 2 White-specks. |

Night of 17 October: Very windy on the coast so numbers much reduced. Lean pickings at Bawdsey Hall included just 11 Diamond- back Moth, 9 Rusty-dot Pearl, 2 Crocidosema plebejana, 1 male Gem, 1 Scarce Bordered Straw, 3 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Turnip, 17 Angle Shades and 1 Silver Y.
Traps at my other coastal site at Iken produced: 10 Diamond-back Moth, 3 Rush Veneer, 9 Rusty-dot Pearl, 4 Angle Shades, 2 Silver Y and 1 Straw Dot. |
