Yesterday on the Isles of Scilly reports of Monarch came from Tresco Abbey Gardens and Maypole on St. Mary's. |

4/10 - Clouded yellows too numerous to count accurately but well in excess of 150 in a single 500 metre long south facing field over looking the Estuary - including 7 Helice. Smaller numbers along the coast path.

Sept 22nd:Bob Ford reported ca200 Clouded Yellows feeding on 3 fields of knapweed at Langton Herring,NW of Weymouth(ref dorsetbutterflies.com).

Thurs 2nd Oct:On the Gosport coast,Hampshire,I recorded 5 Clouded Yellows(4 males & 1 helice female).Further east at Thorney Island,West Sussex,Barry Collins recorded 15 Clouded Yellows(ref sussex-butterflies.org.uk).
