At Bawdsey Hall: 5 Diamond-back Moth, 1 Rush Veneer, 2 male Four-spotted Footman, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Delicate, 3 Silver Y and a Plumed Fan-foot - the latter new to Suffolk. At Iken: 12 Diamond-back Moth, 2 Rush Veneer, 1 male Four-spotted Footman, 1 Convolvulus Hawk-moth, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Delicate and 3 Silver Y. |

Between 2 and 10 Clouded Yellows seen on the farm most days over past few weeks, six yesterday in one field. These are being disturbed from on the clover rather than flying though. Presume they bred there.

Night of the 2 October two male Four-spotted Footman and one Delicate. Also three very late Buff Footman. Yesterday on the coast path near the Lizard had a late Common blue, also eight Clouded Yellow and twenty Red Admiral.
