On a walk between Kynance Cove and Mullion on 28 Sept we saw 25+ Clouded Yellow plus two helice form and 12+ Red Admiral. Also Small Copper 3, Wall Brown and Small Heath.

In nearby Hollesley, Raymond Watson recorded the following: Diamond-back Moth, 1 Cydia amplana, 1 Rush Veneer, 1 Palpita vitrealis, 1 European Corn-borer, 1 Duponchelia fovealis (First area record), 1 Four-spotted Footman, 1 Pearly Underwing, Dark Sword-grass and 1 Delicate.

On the 27th, first Dark Sword-grass of the autumn, to MV.
