Night of 21st Sept. Swallow tailed moth - slightly small second brood, so after this Indian summer I think we are likely to see other unusual 2nd/3rd brood records. Previous entry should have said - night of 19th Sept 1 box moth and 20th Sept 2 box moths

Spent a couple of days staying in London and the moths included one diamond backed moth, hoary footman, cypress pug and 3 perspectalis (box tree moth)

Not sure whether this is a migrant (but I believe there are not many records of this species. Diaphania perspectalis taken in my robinson trap in Woking on the night of 19th sept 2014
