105 species recorded including the following immigrants: 33 Diamond-back Moth, 2 Rush Veneer, 1 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 Dark Pine Knot-horn, 1 European Corn-borer, 1 brown-striped Vestal, 1 Pearly Underwing, 5 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Dark Spectacle and 10 Silver Y. |

We have actually had some migrants in Birmingham at last! Nothing spectacular, but just nice to see a few!

Convolvulus Hawk-moth this am. 5 Pearlies, 25 Silver Y & 3 Rush Veneer are best hauls of these species this autumn - not a good autumn for migrants so far ! 2 Dusky-lemon Sallow are first of the autumn.

One painted lady and one red admiral this morning. During two days of walking the only other possible migrant was a red admiral in Lerryn.
