Night of 26 August: 42 Diamond-back Moth, 4 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 Cypress Pug, 4 Dark Sword-grass, 3 Silver Y and a Golden Twin-spot.

Signs of overnight migration with four Migrant Hawkers appearing today in the bottom of Church Cove. Overnight moth-trapping on 25 August produced a Vestal and single examples of the hoverflies Scaeva pyrastri and Episyrphus balteatus.
