Dark Sword-grass last night

Night of 18 August: singles of Bordered Straw and Dark Sword-grass.

Palpita vitrealis found on buddleia. Also 2 Hummingbird Hawk Moths and a Rusty Dot Pearl

A White Point attracted to light in my house on the night of 18/19 August.
Presumably an immigrant as this is the usual time of year, but has been known to breed in this part of Britain from time-to-time.

A fore-wing of a Blue Underwing on the grass near the trap this morning!

Bordered Straw, Rusty Dot Pearl & Silver Y in trap night of 16th August. Also 5 Red Admiral at garden buddleia during the day.

1 Clouded Yellow at Middleton Lakes RSPB this afternoon, 17th August.

Pale helice clouded yellow this afternoon (17.8.14) at Machynys near Llanelli.
