A Tree-lichen Beauty caught at Hemsby this morning. Along with a dark sword grass and 30+ diamond backs

Night of Saturday 26 July:

1 Vine Moth, 1 Caloptilia hemidactylella, 1 Scarce Silver Y (different to individual on 24th), 1 Dark Sword-grass and a Scandinavian Reed Dagger.

Night of Saturday 26 July:

21 Vagrant Piercer (Cydia amplana), countless Cydia splendana and Diamond-back Moths, 1 Rush Veneer, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 9 Plumed Fan-foot and c20 Silver Y.

Nearby 13 Cydia amplana at Dungeness Bird Observatory and 8 more around Dungeness Point. A Bordered Straw was at the Bird Observatory (per D. Walker).

Cydia splendana seem to be having a good year with the peak count in the last couple of weeks being 89 on 26th July.
