Silvery Gem, E. virgo, at MV light on night of 24 July. Only other possible migrant, one Silver Y.

Night of 23rd July I recorded 3 Silver y, a Vestal and a Gem in my garden trap.

Night of 24 July: Singles of Scarce Silver Y (only the third area record), Cydia amplana, Oncocera semirubella and Rush Veneer.

Three Silver Y and large numbers of Diamond-back Moth and Cydia splendana with an Ant-lion thrown in for good measure! First Sandhill Rustic of the year too.

Male Red-veined Darter in fields this afternoon, no water nearby.

Night 23/24th. 2 Least Carpet, 3 Four-spot Footman, 2 Diamond-back, 1 Silver Y

2 x Vestal on each of 20th and 22nd to MV light in garden trap, followed by single Vestal at Bagley Woods near Oxford last night (23rd).
Plenty of Diamond-back Moths everywhere, presumed residents.
