Another Splendid Brocade last night, no other migrants, possibly breeding localy?

Last night 16th-17th July One Olive Crescent caught in garden MV.

1 Dark swordgrass to 40watt actinic trap in my eastbourne garden on the night of July 15th.

Scarce Tortoiseshell on Buddleias in a suburban garden on 15 July. Firstly wrongly identified as a Large Tortoiseshell but further consultation revealed the rarer species.
Coinciding with winds from the south and east as well as the local arrival of migrant moths.

13th July : Humming-bird Hawk-moth

Scarce Tortoiseshell today at Queens Hill Nature Reserve, Costessey (TG157128);

Night of 14th. 1 European Corn Borer, 1st recorded from location. No other migrants on or either side of 14th.
