Scarce Tortoiseshell sightings at Minsmere RSPB (Suffolk) for it's second day and one at Costessey (Norfolk) north of Longwater Retail Park at Queen's Hills. A Large Tortoiseshell was reported yesterday from Layer de la Haye (Essex) yesterday. Note that an influx of Scarce Tortoiseshell is currently taking place in Holland too.

Disturbed a pristine Jersey Tiger from a Buddleia in a private nursing home garden near the Wandsworth Common.Third consecutive year of finding this species here so probably established now.
