Wed 18th June:Clouded Yellow flying low,fast & east along the Gosport coast.

THurs. 19th. Kenidjack valley near St Just.
12 Humming Bird Hawk Moths, all separate sightings in series of small derelict quarries. All were flying repeatedly up close to vertical rock faces as if attracted to something. Often seen this before. No nectar or piller plants close. Can anybody explain this behavior. |

1 x Cream-bordered Green Pea (Earias clorana) in the garden MV last night (17/6).
I think it might be new to VC7 and it's the first one I've taken away from the coast. |

17/6 - Lots of HB-Hawks about in the last few days with eggs found on bedstraws. Palpita Vitrealis most notable migrant to light.
