Walking through Braintree town centre this lunchtime and much to my surprise a pristine Clouded Yellow flew past, I have seen one before in Braintree but that was in late August.

Red Valerian in my West Suffolk garden is currently proving productive - 2 Hummingbird Hawkmoths and 1 Clouded Yellow present simultaneously this lunchtime.
