I would be grateful for comments. This moth arrived last night and is the right shape and size for Eastern Bordered Straw and has many of the described features but it is worn.

A Hummingbird Hawkmoth reported in a garden at Aylton yesterday, June 09th.

Two Humming-bird Hawk-moths feeding on Valerian at dusk in a garden at Wilmcote near Stratford-upon-Avon ,Warks on 9th June.

Night of 9th June. One 4 spotted Footman and one Cypress Carpet. My first record in Reigate (of both species) but not sure whether Cypress Carpet is resident or migrant.

Night of 9 June 14 - Single Bordered Straw and European Corn-borer

A single Red Admiral holding territory in Pembroke Lodge this afternoon.

Female Four-spotted Footman, 3 Evergestis limbata, Metalampra italica, Ethmia terminella and Diamond-back Moth to mv last night. (Re: previous posting - Scorched Carpet not on the garden list but there is Spindle in the local 10km square)
