Night of 23 May: 1 Rush Veneer, 1 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Silver Y

Wed 21st May:12 Red Admirals & 23 Red-eyed Damselflies seen by me & Anne McCue.About 50 Red Admirals were reported to have been seen in a tree about a fortnight ago.

First of season Painted Lady and 4 more Red Admirals along a fen drove this afternoon would suggest migrants moving up on the southerly winds.

Saw 1 x Painted Lady and 1 x Red Admiral at the very top on Carloggas Downs, Penwithick, Cornwall on 21/5/2014 at 850 feet altitude both "Hilltopping"! Also saw 2 x Silver 'Y' moths there too!

Painted Lady in garden this afternoon, 5 Silver Y on Red Valerian this evening.

In amongst the torrential showers, an absolutely pristine Red Admiral in the garden today.
