Visited the Drop Redoubt Fort in Dover, Kent, today and counted seven hibernating Bloxworth Snouts (two females and 5 males) as well as 99 Peacocks, 55 Small Tortoiseshells and 35 Herald moths. This fort isn't normally open to the public so it was a privilege to be invited to have a look. Talking to the Bat group people, they have seen a couple of Bloxworths in different forts in the last two years as well, so it seems that Bloxworth Snouts are now established in this part of Kent. All I have to do now is find the larvae!
