Thurs 17th Oct:6 Clouded Yellows on the Gosport coast.Reported on ukbutterflies.co.uk 2 very fresh female Long-tailed Blues & 3 males,including a mating pair,at Minnis Bay,near Margate,on the north coast of Kent.

(5355) Just returned from two nights on the coast turning up the following migrants:

Night of 16th October, 7 assorted traps

Diamon-backed Moth 5

Night of 17th October, 7 assorted traps

14 Clouded Yellow seen during the morning 17th while moving trap positions with subsequent busy night:

L-album Wainscot 36 (ten times more than previous night suggesting bolstered numbers)
Pearly Underwing 2

FLAME BROCADE 1 (different individual)

Also very nice to see more of the local coastal species that we don't see much of in the Midlands, including the first Brindled Ochre either of us had seen!
