Found a dead Golden Twin-spot on an inside windowsill whilst at the gym in Clacton. Only missed my trap by 5 miles ! |

Afternoon of 16/10
An afternoon walk in the bright sunshine, although a tad windy produced Red Admiral(40+), Clouded Yellow(1 male), Silver Y(11) along with Speckled Wood(14), Small Copper(12), Small Tortoiseshell(3), Meadow Brown(f), Peacock(5), Comma(2) and Common Darter(2). On 15/10 a Rusty Dot Pearl was found in Marazion |

A male Long-tailed blue in a garden at Wheeler's Bay yesterday.

Tues 15th Oct:on a day's walk along & near the Gosport coast I saw Clouded Yellow 14,Red Admiral 20,Small White 6,Small Copper(3rd brood) 5,Comma 1,Speckled Wood 4,Total 50.Also Vestal,Silver Y Moth,Migrant Hawker & Common Darter 5.
