A single Vestal last night, only my second in Derbyshire and a major rarity this far North and so far inland.

A walk along coast path towards Porthcurno produced four Clouded Yellow, 50 plus Red Admiral, four Silver Y and five Rush Veneer.

Hummingbird Hawkmoths 1 at Porthgwarra,1 at Nanquidno another at Pendeen.
A vestal at Porthgwarra along with Rush Veneers everywhere.
6 Clouded Yellows at Porthgwarra and one at Pendeen.
Approximately 80 Red Admirals on one clump of ivy at Nanquidno was a wonderful sight. It would be nice to see what moths are there tonight!

We found this Flame brocade on 01.10.13 against lights of toilet block during our trip to Sussex. Maybe a migrant or could be from re-established Sussex colony?
