4 Clouded Yellows in margins around arable farmland at Little Wittenham, South Oxfordshire, this afternoon. Had been a single individual for the previous 2 weeks. Silver Y numbers in the same area have plummeted from over 200 at the start of the month to just 13 today.

Dark Swordgrass 9 Silver Y 4 Broad Bordered Yellow underwing 1 - only the 2nd I've ever caught, the other was in autumn 2006. Immigrants? Where from? |
