Small tortoiseshell - after counting 43 around our buddleias this afternoon we thought more were arriving and got a count of 65. Thought our count of 15 earlier in the week was pretty good!
Also Painted lady 1, Red admiral 4 and Silver Y 4. |

Four Small Tortoiseshells noted flying high and due south whilst watching feeding House Martins and Swallows over my garden at 14.00 today - seen through binoculars and not visible to the naked eye.
