6 Clouded Yellow in fat hen field at Lineholt today, observed by Terry Hinett

Night of 12th Aug. 46 Jersey tigers, my highest count for several years. Last years high was 14, so after a blip for a few years, they are recovering.

10 Clouded Yellow, with one pair mating and 2 females seen laying eggs. 36 Red Admiral, 16 Painted Lady, 10 Silver Y and 2 Rush Veneer.

Also a Humming-bird Hawk-moth at Longrock, near Penzance.

4 Long-tailed Blues today at Kingsdown Leas.

Night of 12 August: 66 Silver Y in one trap but the only other migrant was a single Rush Veneer.

Night of 12 August: 119 Diamond-back Moth, 4 Rush Veneer, 4 Dark Sword-grass, 2 Langmaid's Yellow Underwing, 1 Bordered Straw and 636 Silver Y.
