20 Painted Ladies by day today.

A colleague found a Clouded Yellow on butterfly transect at Little Wittenham yesterday

Night 01 August

1 dark swordgrass, 1 male gem, 14 silver y and 11 diamond back. Also 7 Yponomeuta rorella.

Previously we have only had single Prays fraxinella. Last two nights we have had 12 (1 pale) and 14 (all dark) respectively.

2nd Vestal of the year last night,1-8-2013 and a Rush Veneer and many Silver y the night before, in my garden trap, regards Alec.
