Just returned from a very successful trip running 18 traps at four locations on the broads. As well as many of the local specialties such as Fenn's Wainscot, Dotted Fan-foot, Dotted & Small Dotted Footmen and Water Ermine there was one decent migrant. On the night of 17th July at Hickling Broad (Wildlife Trust Centre end) a rather battered Great [b]Brocade[/b] came to a 125w MV Skinner.

1 Orchard Ermine, 6 Bird Cherry Ermine, 8 Diamond Back, 1 RDP, 1 Scarlet Tiger (new for here), 3 Silver Y

Night of 18 July: 1 Willow Ermine, 12 Bird-cherry Ermine, 9 Diamond-back Moth, 7 European Corn-borer, 1 Dark Sword-grass and 1 Silver Y.
