Night of 18 June: Summer has finally arrived! 120 species recorded, lots of wanderers from nearby wetlands (Flame Wainscots and a Silky Wainscot) and heath (Apomyelois bistriatella). Migrants included 26 Diamond-back Moths, one male European Corn-borer and four Silver Ys.
Nearby, also in East Suffolk, single Gems were recorded in Ipswich and Grundisburgh. |
