Very faded Painted Lady on 16th June & male Monarch in fairly good condition, basking and in aerial combat with a Speckled Wood, on 17th June,seen & photographed by Anne McCue.

18/6/13 : Silver Y in double figures visiting Valerian flowers in our garden this evening.

Half a dozen Silver Y and at least 3 Diamond-backs recorded by day here in VC6.

Finally some moths starting to come to the trap and some signs of migrantion! The highligh was a Gem accompanied by 3 Diamond Back Moths and 2 White-point. Also at Church Norton 2 Painted Ladies just arrived from the sea.
