On 7th May,the last warm spring day before the weather changed to rain & gales,I saw Brimstone,Large White,Small White 15,Green-veined White 2,Orange-tip 4,Holly Blue 2,Small Tortoiseshell 2,Peacock 8,Comma 2,Speckled Wood 25,Total 62:fewer species & far fewer butterflies than I usually see in early May.
