Also a Holly Blue on 23rd April.How could I forget my highlight of our one day spring,especially as,ever the optimist,I had hoped to see my first Holly Blue & Speckled Wood in January,the only month that we have not seen them on the Gosport coast.Yesterday's early sunshine was soon relaced by cloud and fog.Last night's clearing cloud & full moon have given way to a dawn chorus accompanied by foghorns!Tonight cloud,rain & much lower temperatures are expected to return.
