5 Dark Sword-grass reported from various locations on 14.iv.2013.

Dark Sword-grass in MV trap in south Oxfordshire garden on 14th April and again on 15th April (presumably same individual).

A pleasing amount of moths this morning, 32 moths of 10 species, best moths were a single Herald and Diurnea fagella, all to 125MV
|

First brimston seen, trapped in a greenhouse, 7 April. Perfect condition - seems as if it had just emerged! This is a good area for the butterfly.

Brimstone,2 Small Tortoiseshells & 4 Commas basking and/or flying on 6th April.

Not migrants, but Early Grey, Dotted Border, Hebrew Character and Common Quaker in the trap this morning and a Comma this afternoon down by the estuary ............. has spring arrived at last!
