Single Scarce Bordered Straw

Daytime obs. One Silver Y

Night of 3 November: 1 Silver Y.

Night of 2 November: 1 Dark Sword-grass.

1 x fresh Painted Lady at 11.00am 1st November in a short sunny spell next to the South Devon Steam Railway just North of Totnes!! Lovely specimen even though temp only 7 degrees Centigrade!! Maybe locally bred as it was not flying strongly it flew up as the train went past as it was basking on the railway embankment.

Silver Y Moth basking & flying on 27th & 30th Oct.Red Admiral:29 on 27th & 37 on 3oth Oct,basking & flying or taking ivy nectar.

Night of 30 October: 2 Diamond-back Moths and 1 Turnip Moth.

Night of 29 October: 4 Dark Sword-grass, 1 Turnip and 3 Silver Y.

night of 28th October a single Silver Y to 40watt heath trap.
