Night of 6th October. 3 Silver Y and 1 Dark Sword-grass. May not sound like much but Dark Sword-grass very unusual for my Midlands garden!

7th October
11 Cosmopolitan to mvl in past 10 days, despite dreadful weather. We are still unsure if the species is resident here, whereas Delicate, which is also appearing now, certainly is. South-migrating Red Admirals are coming to mvl quite frequently (5 yesterday.) |
