Clouded Yellow:2 males on 8th;female rejecting male on 11th Sept.
Painted Lady:one taking sedum nectar in a private garden on 7th;another basking on 11th.

11/9/12 : Painted Lady in our garden this afternoon.

Painted Lady today in Poly-tunnel, 19 Silver Y at dusk, mostly at flowers of Helianthemum Lemon Queen.

Saturday 8th Sept.

Silver Y (64), Red Admiral (36) and single Rush Veneer seen along Newhaven cliffs during a regular transect walk. Red Admirals appeared to be flying in off the sea in a NW direction.

At 125W MV on 10.ix.2012 a single Agrotis ipsilon Dark Sword-grass.

Night of 10th September, trip to Canvey Island, running a 125w MV and a 160w MBT for 2 and a half hours.
Moths included, L-album Wainscot, Twin-spotted Wainscot and Brown-veined Wainscot, with lots of migrant activity, 3x Dark Sword-grass and 15+ White-point.
