Odonata sightings in recent days:

Lesser Emperor at Winterton North Dunes, Norfolk, on 9 July.

Red-veined Darter : one male at Middleton Ind. Est., Heysham, Lancs. on model boat pond 7 - 9 July at least. Other recent sightings have included Seaforth, Merseyside, on 8 July and in Norfolk at Beeston Regis on 6 July and Kelling Water Meadows (15 still on 7 July).

A few more Silver Y's & Diamond-backs showing up in recent days. Rush Veneer yesterday & 3 more this morning. First Dark Sword Grass of the year this morning & a Langmaid's Yellow Underwing.

Night of 7th July saw a number of migrants in the Isle of Man. Highlight was a Bedstraw Hawk Moth recorded by Les Kneale in the North East of the Island.
