Daytime singles of Nomophila noctuella Rush Veneer and Autographa gamma Silver Y.

Humming-bird Hawk moth spotted briefly in my garden at lunch time, nectaring on the last few blooms of my honeysuckle.

Female Red-veined Darter on Friday 29 June at Finedon Pocket Park. Nearby three males were noted at a private site on 30 June.

Alderney, influx of Humming-bird Hawk-moths: 3 seen together on valerian, 30th June.
Last week I was in Jersey. On 25 June Roger Long had Ringed Border to MVL in St John. On 28th Dusky Clearwing came to TAB pheromone at 4.30 pm on Grouville Common (where Hornet Moth is common.) First P tabaniformis at this very likely site, after four years of trying there.
