Having browsed the flight arrivals was interested to see Les Hill's Yellow-line Quaker in January. In Rothamsted light trap catch 8-10/02/12 there was a Sallow, Xanthia icteritia.

Not stricly a migrant, but only the fourth recent county record for VC38 of a Red Sword-grass trapped on Friday 2nd March to our nightly run 125w MV Skinner.

Silver Y in good condition to garden MV trap 2-3-2012.

We found a different black-spotted chestnut in our garden on 29 February 2012 (see 23 February submission). It was on the shed near the Robinson 125Mv trap. Any speculation as to their origin would be appreciated.
