One Hummingbird Hawk-moth, found flying against a window, in a garden shed. First record of a hibernating 'Hummer'in Northants.

Last record should say probably only one ever in Northants January

Red Admiral seen in Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens this morning.

One Red Admiral fluttering around the shelter of a couple of pine trees in the sun on the edge of the football pitch.

Night of 6th Jan: I ran the Actinic 40w Skinner trap last night for the first time this year as it has been very wet and windy here up to now and was very surprised to find that the only moth in the trap thismorning was a Silver Y.

Is this very late or very early for this species?
