Night of 18th, 20km inland in Sussex. 2 L-album Wainscot, 9 Palpita vitrealis, 1 White-point, 5 male Four-spotted Footman, 4 Vestall (3 brown striped and 1 yellow striped), 1 Silver-Y, 5 Rusty-dot Pearl, 1 Rush Veneer, 1 Blair’s Mocha, 1 Small Mottled Willow, 1 Scarce Bordered Straw and 1 Diamond Back. Single Oak Rustic and Dusky-lemon Sallow were likely wanderers from the Sussex coast or perhaps further afield, and the source of the Rosy Footman is anyone’s guess. Acleris umbrana and 2 Blue Underwing completed a very exciting catch to a single MV trap.
