National Moth Night (2) - 19 Sept:
Trapping with John Chainey & Jenny Spence in much more favourable conditions than the previous night, with Neil Sherman accompanying us in the morning.

An impressive c86 species were recorded with the highlights as follows:
DUSKY-LEMON SALLOW - 1
Crocidosema plebejana - 1
Diamond-back Moth - 28
Rush Veneer - 11
Large Thorn - 2
Convolvulus Hawk-moth - 4
Dark Sword-grass - 3
Dark Spectacle - 1
Small Mottled Willow - 1
Silver Y - 13

Other surprises included unseasonal Yellow-tail, Clouded Silver & Plain Wave and a Western Conifer Seed Bug!
