Male Aeshna affinis showing extremely well in same ditch as seen last year. Watched for 45 minutes early pm; frequently hovering + perched low down on dead bush along ditch showing all features well- plain greenish side to thorax, blue, eyes, conspicuous paired blue spots + blue "T" on S2.
