Mediterranean Corn-borer Sesamia nonagrioides on St. Agnes, Isles of Scilly, on 2 October (M. Hicks). Looks like Small Wainscot and most probably new to Britain.
Addtional records of Crimson Speckled from Dungeness, Kent, on the night of 4 October (D. Walker) and from Holmbury St. Mary, Surrey on the night of 5 October. |
