Night of 3 October:
3 Diamond-back Moth, 4 Rush Veneer, 1 Palpita vitrealis, 1 Convolvulus Hawk-moth, 1 male Four-spotted Footman, 1 Crimson Speckled (first Bawdsey record since 1885 and my first ever self-trapped!), 3 Dark Sword-grass, 2 Delicate, 3 Silver Y and 1 Red Admiral. A real splash of colour in the traps this morning with Frosted Orange, Merveille du Jour, a selection of sallows and the variation in Beaded Chestnuts. |
