last night's moth counts of migrants from St Agnes (11/10), Isles of Scilly were probably down again from 9 traps plus ivy. A biting NE wind kept moths away from the more exposed traps.
Moth counts were; Rusty-dot Pearl x 11 Rush Veneer x 22 Palpita vitrealis x 2 Red Admiral x 2 (in trap) Hummingbird Hawk-moth x1 (in trap) Dark Swordgrass x 3 Pearly Underwing x 3 Delicate x 4 White-speck x 9 Silvery x 4 Scarce Bordered Straw x 3 Small Mottled Willow x 1 |
