News From Flight Arrivals
Autumn 2016 has brought a record influx of Radford’s Flame Shoulder with at least 55 recorded in late September to 21st October. Typically most were in the south-west of England. Accompanying cast included several Death’s-head Hawk-moths and Clifden Nonpareil. Not to be outdone, the east coast continued to produce a run of interesting sightings, including good numbers of Convolvulus Hawk-moth and several Golden Twin-spot.
