Atropos is the UK journal for butterfly, moth and dragonfly enthusiasts. It is published three times a year, with an annual Migration Review. This website is a resource for visitors to find out about latest sightings, how to get involved in recording in their local area and to share information with other enthusiasts.

News From Flight Arrivals
Less than two weeks into the New Year and migrant records are already appearing on our Flight Arrivals page, albeit in small numbers and predominantly from the the south, but single Silver Y have been recorded in Suffolk and with one at the very end of 2018 in Warwickshire on the night of the 31st December

Photo of the Month
Each month during between March and October, Atropos awards a £20 prize for the best photo posted on the Flight Arrivals news page. This prize can be used against purchases over £34 from Atropos Books (but can not be used in conjunction with other offers).
September's winner is Bill Welch with this image of a Delicate trapped in his garden at Crowborough, East Sussex on 28th September
August's winner is Samantha Batty with this image of a Dewick's Plusia trapped in a South Yorkshire Garden on 5th August.
To be eligible for the prize all you need to do is post your image of a migrant butterfly, moth or dragonfly with your news on Flight Arrivals. To qualify images must not have been previously published.
