News From Flight Arrivals
Late August and early September brought a small influx of Convolvulus Hawk-moths, some coming to Nicotiana plants grown from seed given to Atropos readers earlier in the year. Sightings were primarily from the south of England but extended as far north as Cheshire and Aberdeenshire. At least five examples were colour marked as part of the activities leading up to Moth Night (10-12 September) so keep an eye out for any moths with colour spots on their wings!
