News From Flight Arrivals
The season began quietly with northerly and easterly winds predominating in April and generally unsuitable conditions for immigration, the main feature being a scattering of Dark Sword-grass, which led to speculation that some may be locally bred. However, there were also reports of Diamond-back Moth, Rusty-dot Pearl, Vestal and Painted Lady in April, which were more suggestive of immigration.
