Details: Had a bumper haul last night at Samphire Hoe, Dover! Flame Brocade, Crimson Speckled, Blair's Mocha and hundreds of common migrants, too many to list. Bit of an anti-climax at home, only 10 N. noctuella and a Silver Y!

Details: Mating Four- Spotted Footman. Lithosia quadra.
At Buryas Bridge near Penzance we are fortunate to be able to call this species common.
The F.S Footman catches are frequently in double figures, suggesting a resident ‘colony’ but the catch of 124 on 22.8.22 was exceptional.
